LOVE (POL)

Love by Natalia Różycka brings the subtle and fluid shades of queer relationships to life. Even though Różycka shows abstract and fluid shapes and forms, the work is narrative. It tells the story of the artist’s own personal relationships, how one changes their gender identity, how platonic, romantic, and relationships of desire do not have clear cut category boundaries, but are fluid. They weave and morph into each other like collages of shades and shapes of and in Love do. The color pattern is warm and light, the lines of the compositions are rounded rather than sharp like the interiors of the body fragments that inhabit these imagined spaces of Love.
