With seemingly little effort, Josephine Philip and Ina Lindgreen fuse a range of rock and pop influences plus the textures and structures of electronic dance music with the pervading atmosphere of an art-house movie soundtrack, while at the same time combining a deep sense of longing with their attitude of coolness. The foundation of their vision is to be found in flawless vocals and the conscious melancholy of their glamour. Despite their diversity of styles, they create a finished product or, to put it their way, „In our music, there is something for the mind, something for the heart and something for the feet too“. The band takes their listeners on an ever ascending trip through disco noir, a dizzying maelstrom of many different inspirations (the Jesus and Mary Chain, the Cocteau Twins, Kate Bush, Nite Jewel, bedroom pop and basement rock), where every member of the audience can discover personal references and be touched in their own way.
