The Illustrious Blacks begeben sich mit ihrem Mix aus Funk, hypnotisierendem House, Space Disco und Synth-Pop auf eine Reise durch die Galaxie. Sie sind bereit, die Welt mit ihrem unverwechselbaren Sound zu erobern und ermutigen, das Leben in vollen Zügen zu genießen.

Das New Yorker Ehepaar hat bereits mit namhaften Produzent*innen wie Seven Davis Jr., KDA und Soul Clap zusammengearbeitet. Ihre EP »Neo Afro Futuristic Psychedelic Surrealistic Hippy« wurde 2017 zu einem Riesenerfolg und begeisterte Fans weltweit mit Hits wie »Blast Off« und »Black Like Jesus«. Mit »Step Back« lieferten sie 2020 der Gaytimes zufolge  »one of the most unapologetically queer anthems of the year«. Support gibt es vom Heidelberger DJ-Duo Denga Boys.

The Illustrious Blacks use their mix of funk, hypnotic house and synthesizer pop to take you on a journey through the galaxy! Their unmistakable sound is about to conquer the world, instructing party-goers to enjoy life to the fullest.

Married and living in New York, the Illustrious Blacks have already worked with renowned producers such as Seven Davis Jr., KDA and Soul Clap. They had huge success with their EP „Neo Afro Futuristic Psychedelic Surrealistic Hippy“ in 2017 and fans around the world fell in love with hits such as „Blast Off“ and „Black Like Jesus“.
